Denise Adams

Hi, My name is Sharon Davis Salter and I am fundraising for my dear friend Denise Adams. Denise Adams is a mother, grandmother, and former nurse. Unfortunately, due to illness, Denise had to take early retirement from the profession she loved and from ECMC as a nurse where she cared for so many!

Denise has an Auto Immune Disease called Lupus, and because of the disease, she has developed complications in her lungs. Denise is now on oxygen and needs a lung transplant.

Medical expenses are astronomical, and unfortunately, insurance does not cover all of her expenses. Denise must pay out of pocket for some of her care. Lastly, Denise is traveling to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for her Lung transplant. After surgery, she will need to live in Pittsburgh for 4- 6 months during her recovery.
