Help Support Denise and Betty Olsen
Donation protected
On March 31, Denise Olsen had to undergo an emergency brain surgery due to an aneurysm. Thanks to an incredible team of doctors at the Foothills Hospital, Denise is doing well, and is expected to return home in May to continue to recover.
During the first couple weeks, post-op, while Denise was working very hard on her recovery, Betty and Denise received news that the house they were living in would be sold by the owner, so we had to find them a new home in a matter of a few days.
The events over the past few weeks have created a lot of uncertainty for the Olsen family and friends. Wanting to remove stress where possible, we are asking for your help, through donation, to give what you can to support Betty and Denise.
Both Betty and Denise care deeply for their friends, family and hockey community and give as much as they can, however, they are not always the best at asking for help when they themselves need it. To remove the pressure of paying rent for about 6 months would be significant to ease stress while Dense is recovering from her surgery and while Betty gets settled into her new home.
Dalton (organizer) is the nephew to Denise and grandson to Betty.
