Denise and Greyson need our help!
UPDATE: Greyson has an appointment on Monday with the oncologist and Tuesday with the surgeon. Hoping to have her leg removed next week! She will definitely need some after care and possibly chemotherapy, which can run upwards of another $3-5k. We are not sure what route we are going to go at this moment, ALL money left over from Greyson’s treatment will go to a local cancer/animal rights/hospice/rescue organization in Greyson & Denise’s name!
Update on Greyson. So, she went to the vet today and the news is not good. It is not a torn ACL... it is actually CANCER. It’s Osteosarcoma and is a very aggressive form of cancer. The xrays look like it hasn’t spread, so her best chance is to have her leg amputated. We need to do this ASAP. I am updating the total amount needed as this surgery is less expensive than the ACL surgery. Thank you to all of you that have already donated! Please keep sharing.
As you all know, Denise has been thorough more in 5 years than we could ever imagine in our lifetime. She has never really asked for help and is probably going to kill me for this, but I don’t care. She is a MESS and needs help. We all know that her dogs, Greyson and Paxton, are her life. They are her children and she cares more about them than herself. Greyson mysteriously injured her leg this past weekend. She went to the vet and was informed that she completely tore her ACL and partially tore her meniscus. This is not a cheap surgery to repair and her pet insurance doesn’t cover it. Denise is, beyond words, upset at seeing her baby in pain. Any little bit can help. Please share even if you can’t help.
