Denise and Leighton whitfield

My name is Michael Perez. This week my family is facing one of the hardest things we have had to face for our family as a whole. My aunt, Denise Long got the news on Wednesday morning Sep 28th that my cousin (her son) Leighton Whitfield 21 yrs of age was killed senselessly by a man with a gun. There is nothing that can prepare anyone for such news. Although she has plenty of loving support. She could use the extra funds from this to help pay for burial plot, headstone and funeral costs, which can add up fast. No parent should have to bury their baby much less worry about the costs of such a terrible loss. No donation is too small. Every donation will be greatly appreciated beyond words.The rest of the donations will go to help institute and pass a law called #Leightonslaw which we will be fighting for metal detectors at hospitals and schools everywhere.
