Denise Corbin's family

Hi everyone,

On October 13, 2022, Denise tested positive for COVID 19. Nearly 2 weeks after her initial diagnosis and being admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), she was intubated and quickly placed on a ventilator on October 25th. Denise faced many challenges in the following weeks; she has survived 3 surgeries, multiple infections, uncontrollable heart arrhythmias and failed weans from the ventilator. Denise remained on a ventilator for a total 9 weeks and 5 days before finally being weaned to a lower level of respiratory support.

There is a long road to recovery ahead - Denise was transported to St. John’s on December 11th, 2022 to receive further resources to aid in her COVID-19 recovery. Her husband, daughter and son followed to stay by her side and provide any support that she needs to get well - however, this does not come without financial struggle.

Any donations made to this fundraiser will aid in expenses incurred for the family during her recovery in St. John’s.

Her family has and will continue to do whatever it takes for her to get well - she needs her family by her side!
