Update 11/20/23

Sunday morning a little before 6am Denise passed away peacefully with her mom, dad, sister, snd brother by her side. Denise’s family appreciates everything that has been done to show your support. The girls each said goodbye to their mom. Gregg stayed up every night with her so she didn't feel alone. Some extended family was able to be here as well.

As many of you may be aware, in 2022, Denise received a diagnosis of Stage 4 lung cancer (non-small cell, squamous carcinoma with EGFR mutation) after experiencing a persistent cough. While this was certainly not the news anyone hoped for, Denise faced it with remarkable resilience and a readiness to confront the challenge ahead. True to her character, she chose to maintain a positive outlook.

Denise, her family, and her friends are all united in their hopes for the best possible outcome and are committed to staying optimistic throughout this journey.

This GoFundMe campaign has been created to provide support to the family in covering the significant medical expenses associated with cancer treatment. While insurance does cover some of the costs, it is well-known that cancer treatment can be a financial burden.
