Dennis Bittle - Final expenses and help for Aimee
Donation protected
On the morning of January 23, 2024, Dennis’ wife Aimee found him passed away in bed. Dennis was not sick, and this was a sudden and shocking thing. Because he was young and fairly healthy, no planning had gone into what to do in a situation like this. Aimee is disabled and can not care for herself. They had pets, not kids, but she can’t take care of pets either and was forced to surrender them all. Overnight Aimee lost her whole family. Now she is left literally all alone, she has no family to lean on. With no financial resources, lots of decisions to make, and all while trying to get past the shock of finding him, and just no longer having him there. He was her person. He loved her unconditionally, and she loved him just as much. My heart breaks for her, and I wanted to do something to help. We have some friends in common who would also like to help, so I asked her if it was ok to set this up. She doesn’t like asking for help, but sometimes life, and death, leave us no choice.
Aimee is facing Dennis’ final expenses, and trying to figure out how to live on just her disability income. She will have to leave the new home they recently bought. She will need either a caregiver or an assisted living facility, which her insurance will not cover. Then there are just the usual bills that were being paid with Dennis’ income, and copays, deductibles and all that stuff we all take for granted being able to pay.
If you can find it in your heart to contribute to these needs it would mean the world to Aimee, and to me. I’ve known Dennis for almost 30 years, and Aimee since they started dating. Aimee is my best friend, twin sister from another mister. These are good people who have been facing tragedy after tragedy for the past 3+ years. To know either of them is to love them. Aimee is overwhelmed and trying to take on everything at once. She can’t even get out of the house to go to a Dr appointment, which is of course an essential need for a disabled person. If you cannot contribute monetarily, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. If you’re local to the Indianapolis area and are willing to help in some other way, please leave a message and let us know! Thank you so much for considering helping in whatever way you can!
Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
