Dennis Burley's Memorial Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Alexis, I am the Granddaughter of Dennis Burley. Dennis passed away on December 11, 2021.
Leading up to his passing, he had Pulmonary Fibrosis. Diagnosed in 2017 I believe. In October 2021 he had a fall which broke 3 of his ribs over his lungs, as well as pneumonia. He became very weak and needed to regain strength before being discharged. He was transferred to a physical therapy center for 4 weeks after a 2 week hospital stay in Everett, WA.
He decided to move to Canton, TX to be with his brother Howard Burley, and his wife Susan and began the process of preparing his home for Sale, getting caught up on back due bills (few months worth) and beginning a new journey in life.
After 2 weeks in Canton, he came down with pneumonia again (4th or 5th time by now since his original diagnosis of Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2017.) He spent about a week in a Hospital in Tyler, TX before deciding he wanted to go into Hospice. He was in Hospice for only a few days.
He told us as his family prior his wishes for once he passed, and we are doing all we can to make those happen for him.
Losing him is a very hard thing for all of us as a family as he truly was the anchor that kept everyone and every thing together. He is deeply deeply missed.
Any funds would donated would be greatly appreciated. This would help us as his family with the funds for his cremation, burial - his wish is to have his ashes to be buried with his father's ashes here in Washington State, as well as a celebration of life to honor his memory.
Rest in Peace, Grandpa, Dennis Robert Burley.
