Dennis cropper

Hi my name is Amber , Dennis cropper is my uncle . Dennis was a decendant of the kamilaroi / Wayilwan tribe . Born in Warren NSW to Veronica Darcy and Michael Cropper , he was the eldest child with 5 younger sisters who adored and looked up to him . Growing up he was an adventurous child who enjoyed playing footy and tormenting his sisters. Just before Uncle Dennis turned 16 he made the decision to join the Navy where he trained in under water weapons, he travelled to places like cairnes and darwin and other destinations. Through his navy years he made alot of experiences and life long friends . After many years at sea in the Navy uncle dennis lived the land life and went through many of jobs such as truck driving , factory work . Over these years he had children and met his soulmate Theresa. Over the past 6 years he has been on once hell of a ride battling multiple health issues. His first battle was a rare cancer near the groin followed by amputation of his right leg,after that followed his biggest battle

yet . Over the next few years uncle Dennis was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour in his oesophagus. There he went through radiation and alot of struggles with eating and pain. Recently he was hospitalised with troubles breathing , where he was sent home only to return and find out he had a partial collapsed lung with fluid building up . Two drains were placed in to the left lung to help drain the fluid . Scans also showed he had stage 4 lung cancer and that it had spread to his sterum and spine . He was then transfered down to pallative care , where he loved his view of the carpark and the outside world and also got to marry his partner of 35 years Theresa . He spent 2 weeks in pallative care before he peacefully went with his wife by his side . He was an amazing man full of character and life who made an impact of so many people he will be dearly missed by so many .
