Dennis Dase Cremation & Celebration of Life Funds

Words cannot describe the immense pain, hurt, and shock of learning that our beloved Dennis has passed away.

Growing up, Dennis and his family were always at the race tracks. Dennis loved watching races. We were always traveling to watch races, hang out in the pits, and watch Uncle Bobby race at the amateur tracks. Dennis was always wearing a racing shirt. It was one of his true loves. He loved cars, but he loved sharing his enjoy with his family more.

We also would hang out at his family farm in Indiana. Farm weekends were absolute favorites. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends would come from miles around to roll in the muddy creeks, four-wheel/go-kart, fish and jump into the pond, light off fireworks, and watch the campfire crackle all night long. Dennis was the ringleader of the fun; always ensuring everyone was happy and having a blast.

Dennis was an incredible father and grandfather. He was always everyone’s biggest cheerleader; attending practices, games, and buying every bit of fundraising material.

We are asking for help covering Dennis's cremation and Celebration of Life costs. As of now, the family is unaware of any savings or life insurances policies to assist in the costs. Dennis's son, Alex, has been working with the family to make arrangements to honor Dennis in the very best way possible. Dennis absolutely hated funerals, so the family has decided to throw a huge Celebration of Life Memorial (time/location/details TBD).

When planning Dennis's final arrangements, Alex's fiancée, Kayla Smith, selflessly paid for the cremation and cremation memorabilia for the family (e.g., Dennis's mother and grandchildren), using her own savings as the full payment. Kayla is due with Dennis's fourth grandchild in just a few days (Tuesday, April 5th), which will leave Kayla on unpaid maternity leave for two months. We are looking to recoup Kayla's savings, so that she can rest and recover on maternity leave, while also honoring Dennis's legacy.
