Dennis Dillon's Recovery Fundraiser

On  August 31st , 2019,  a member of our Mount Sinai Community suffered a massive heart attack. Mr. Dennis Dillon was enjoying the end of the summer on his boat, when he suddenly felt ill. He was saved by the use of an AED and was rushed to Stony Brook Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. The surgeons found 100% blockage in his artery and Dennis was placed on a ventilator. He was sedated for several days. Dennis slowly woke up and showed the community the kind of fighter he is. He started to talk, sit up and move his legs, however he still has a long road ahead for full recovery and returning back to work. Mrs. Dillon, Rachel, Haley and Justin have been by his side every step of the way. The cost of the care Dennis received is going to be a large financial burden on him and his family, that no one could have planned for. The Dillon's are always supporting others and our community. They are always at football and lacrosse games, supporting our younger generation. Now it is time for us to give back to them.  We thank everybody for your support and ask that you help lighten the financial impact that this event will have on the Dillon Family.
