Dennis Gayton Funeral Help
Donation protected
On April 4, 2017, Dennis Gayton, of Gainesville, and his 15 year old son were making what seemed to be a routine trip to the grocery store for dinner. But this trip would prove to be anything but routine.
Dennis and his son were held at gunpoint and robbed. With guns pointed at the both of them, they gave the robbers everything they had, which wasn't much, only a little grocery money. Dennis was subsequently shot in the head at point blank range only inches from his son.
Witnessing the senseless execution of his father right in front of him, shot in the head even after giving the robbers everything they had, he ran as if his life depended on it ...... and it did! He was shot in the neck while running, trying to get away, screaming for help, screaming for his daddy.
Dennis Gayton, with a mortal gunshot to the head, managed to hold on long enough to see that his son was safe. He passes away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, leaving behind a wife of 19 years, 3 sons, ages 16, 15 and 11.
This family has no life insurance; no medical insurance to speak of; no rainy day money; no savings fund set aside. Dennis was the sole breadwinner. These boys are in desperate need of help. They have nothing to make funeral arrangements for their daddy.
Please help this family. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and desperately needed.
