Dennis McBroom Memorial Fund
Dennis McBroom went to be with the Lord on June 8th at 1:33am in Virginia while battling pneumonia and other complications.
Dennis was loved by anyone who crossed his path, even briefly. Other than his wife and family, he had no favorites, but he was, without a doubt, everyone else’s favorite person. He would light up a room with his enormous zest for life and enjoyment in making people laugh and smile. If you needed anything, he was always there for you, always providing words of wisdom and a helping hand. He would always say that money was “only paper”, as he would repeatedly set an example of what true generosity looked like.
Dennis was never one to shy away from a deep conversation on the Bible or current events. He loved Jesus with all his heart and was a strong pillar of faith for his family, always leading and teaching by example. He was an avid golfer that never passed up a chance to play. A longtime coach, softball player, and a fan of all the Seattle sports teams. He loved sports, a good joke, and above all, he loved his family.
So many friends and family have asked how they can help and what they can do for our family during this time. Really, the only thing that we would want is for our mom, Terri, to be taken care of. Dennis spent the majority of his life loving Terri and taking care of her. With him gone, we want to continue taking care of her, as he would want. We are asking for a love offering to help pay for unexpected expenses that are surrounding the sudden passing of Dennis.
