Dennis Neal

Hi, my name is Paul and I'm fundraising for my dear friend of 30 years, Dennis Neal, actor, director, and acting coach who, on Wednesday May 3rd collapsed outside in front of his home from an as yet defined medical condition that ended him up in the hospital. Dennis was unconscious when neighbors found him and began administering chest compressions until the EMT's arrived. He was then immediately taken to UCLA.

Since last Wednesday Dennis has been unconscious and under heavy sedation with his body temperature lowered. There has been good news since then but we are far from out of the woods at this time. They are hoping to wean him off sedation today and tomorrow, and fingers crossed, wake him up hopefully Wednesday.

It goes without saying that there will be serious costs incurred by him and his loving wife Susan, who, God bless her, just lost her mother the week before. Dennis is 74 and is on a fixed income as is Susan so they could really use some financial assistance to help with the impending bills. Times are tough for many, we know and we empathize but if you can help out in any way, I know Susan and Dennis will be forever grateful.

Susan shared the following with me today to add to what I've written:

"I was not home yet (due home the following day) and the blessing of our three neighbor angels appearing quickly to assist with chest compressions until EMT arrived as well as ride behind the ambulance, go in and check HIM IN, I am forever indebted! I quickly turned to our framily team to hold it down until I could arrive the following day! Even now they are still holding it down by sending updates and in the room with me, giving me a break, etc. That being said, I am feeling the love for Dennis all over this earth and with everyone asking what they can do for us, as HUMBLE as I have to be right now, this Go Fund would be top of the list of a need that is going to have to be addressed sooner then late as I am not having any idea of the financial needs that will happen. My heart and the family's heart are forever thankful for the outpouring of love and concern for our Dennis! Let the prayers continue!"
