ZBT Brother Denis O'Connor

It is with great sadness that I share the following news with you.

Tragically, our fraternity brother, and dear friend, Denis O'Connor, passed away, on Friday, February 23, 2024. Dennis made a choice to take his own life.

Dennis's leaves behind his girlfriend, Tanya Silvester, and her two children, his sister, his brother, cousins, his close friends, his ZBT fraternity brothers and little sisters.

He was a wonderful brother and good friend to many.

His family is spread out across the country and his girlfriend Tanya, and his brother and sister are left with arranging for and paying for his funeral and all end of life related services and expenses. It is a lot if not overwhelming for them to do on their own during this time of grief, not to mention extraordinarily expensive.

When we started this fraternity back in 1988, we committed that our brotherhood was a lifetime bond that we shared that would transcend our time at school to our lives out in the world. We would be there for each other as friends, as brothers and sisters.

I am asking all of you now if you can please give something, whatever it is you can afford, no amount is too small to help Tanya financially, in the aftermath of this tragedy.

i am told that right now services for Dennis will be in Fuquay Verina, North Carolina on March 9, 2024. As more information becomes available, I will share it.
