Dennis Scadlock Sr. Medical expenses

Donation protected
On April 28th, 2022 my Dad Dennis had a pretty bad stroke and a mild heart attack. He was transported by ambulance from his home in PeEll to Centralia Providence where they performed a CT scan. They immediately put him back into the ambulance and transported him to St. Pete’s providence in Olympia where they were able to perform emergency surgery and remove the clot from his brain. The stroke affected the left side of his body.

Unfortunately his last employer had to shut down the company, and his insurance ended a month after. He started at his new place of employment last month but his insurance hasn’t kicked in yet. He is extremely concerned about finances and how he’s going to pay for the treatment of this unfortunate incident. I started this fund raiser to try to give him some piece of mind so he can focus on his health and recovery.

I will do what I can to keep everyone updated on his progress.

Day one (post surgery):
he was able to move his left leg but really no movement in his left arm. Also facial droop. No feeling on the outside of his limbs.
Day two:
Left leg is a little stronger, and some small movements in his left arm, no movement in his left hand.
Day three:
He is able to squeeze my hand! We also got moved from the ICU up to the neurological floor.
Day 4:
really no extreme changes, his arm, leg and hand all feel a bit stronger today.
