Dennis Yates Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Shannon Broecker.

On December 13th, my brother Dennis Yates suffered a stroke, which caused significant bleeding in both the left and right frontal lobes of the brain. Dennis was in critical care for over 2 weeks and on Christmas was moved to the neurological step-down unit. What a Christmas miracle!

Unfortunately, the stroke caused major brain trauma and Dennis is going to acute rehab to relearn and try and progress back to a normal life. Due to the brain trauma, Dennis, who is the financial supporter of his family and one of the most dedicated, hard-working men I know will not be able to work for possibly years, if at all.

I have decided to start this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burdens that we know accompany serious medical issues. I am trying to raise the goal amount or even more to help cover medical expenses such as copayments, deductibles, monthly bills that will go unpaid, and gas that his wife will need to get back and forth to see him and for meetings with the medical teams.
