Denny’s Cancer Treatment

My mom, Denny, was recently diagnosed with low and high grade papillary urothelial carcinoma—a form of bladder cancer. She had surgery on 11/15 during which 6 tumors were removed from her bladder and a stent was placed in the kidney. The next phase of treatment is BCG immunotherapy: a therapy during which bacteria is injected into the bladder to kill the cancer cells. This will be at least a 3 year fight to remission. The goal of this fundraiser is to help purchase gas cards, meal cards, sanitizing agents (to prevent others in the household from contracting the bacteria), and other extra expenses incurred from treating her illness. My mom is hesitant to accept help from others, but she is absolutely deserving of communal support. Our family is most grateful for any donations, acts of service, thoughts, and prayers.
