Dental Relief for a Caring Worker

Hello as most of you know I work in home health care. Which is grossly underpaid. I have some very important dental work I need done that my insurance will not cover. I know times are hard right now for everyone but every little bit helps. I need to have two root canals done and my out of pocket cost is $2,000.

If you follow local New York State News you know that the program I work under CDPAPD( consumer directed personal assistant program) has changed hands to one out of state company notorious for not paying employees on time. Well I made the transition to this company and I’ve not been paid.

so now on r top of needing dental work I can’t afford to pay my monthly bills. I filed a claim with Department of Labor and was told it will take up to three years to be resolved. My bill collectors don’t run IOU’s.

After losing my life partner unexpectedly in 2022 I’ve barely just began to rebuild. I’m finally in an apartment of my own.However I live pay check to paycheck like many others. I’m facing homelessness for a second time unless I come up with money fast. I am asking for any help you can give even if it’s just sharing my link. Thank you all so very much.
