Denyse Bike Accident Recovery

Last month I was biking home from school when I hit my brakes at 30 mph after a driver switched lanes without warning. I flipped over my handlebars and broke my 4 front teeth and the 5th metacarpal of my writing hand. I needed surgery to place the bone in my hand in the right position for healing and have had 2 root canals/ rods, and 4 crowns.

I am still waiting on many of the medical bills and follow up visits, but so far the cost has racked up to over 6,000 dollars. Additionally, before the accident I had set up a trip to meet my mom's family in the Philippines during her 50 year high school reunion. While I am still excited, this has set me back further.

I decided to make a GoFundMe account because I know a lot of people who care about me expressed interest. However, you do not have to donate to show you care! I'm not really sure what to expect with this campaign - if this is too much or too little but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. Thank you for any support!
