Deputy Cardenas needs Back Up

Daniel & Irma Cardenas have literally been going thru hell the past several months. Daniel is a fellow deputy & friend. His son & many of his extended family members are all in law enforcement. The Cardenas family have always been the type to bend over backwards for others; always giving, always encouraging, always lending a hand to others. As many of you know Daniel has been in and out of the hospital since the beginning of the year. His most recent stay resulted in an unsuccessful surgery due to complications of bleeding; which resulted in his being in I.C.U, and his being off work longer than expected. His doctors are discussing, and trying to determine his future liver transplant options, along with additional medical issues.  He is on the liver transplant list, but it is uncertain when or if he will receive a new liver. He has exhausted all of his sick leave, and vacation time. His medical expenses have accumulated, and his monthly household bills are not being met. I have created this page to ask for assistance for our fellow deputy, friend in need. Anytime we hear “OFFICER ASSISTANCE” we immediately respond and the Calvary shows up. Well folks, we need the Calvary, the community, neighbors, friends, and anyone who knows Daniel, personally or professionally to show up for him & his family, & help them meet their financial needs, and medical costs.
