Deputy Donald Franklin- Medical Assistance Fund

Deputy Donald Franklin was involved in a off duty accident, where he sustained substantial injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Archbold Memorial Hospital and later flown to the burn center in Augusta, GA for more advance treatment. Donald has been a vital part of the Thomas County Sheriff's Office for the past 10 years. Donald is currently a School Resource Officer for the Thomas County School System, assigned to Garrison Elementary.  He has always shown the utmost compassion and dedication to his job serving the Thomas County community. Donald loves working with the students and school staff everyday, they are what drives his energy and enthusiasm to his job. Donald needs the community's help with his medical bills and the costs of future treatments/surgeries through this accident. He strives to get back to work but due to his injuries the time frame of returning to full duty is unknown.
