Deputy Jared Allison's Memorial Fund
Dear Family and Friends, we are asking for your prayers and support.
(Please visit the Updates for the latest information on Jared's story.)
Thanksgiving evening, 11/26/20, my nephew, Deputy Jared Allison of the Nash County Sheriff's Office was involved in a horrific vehicle accident while on duty. His patrol SUV went airborne and rolled multiple times and Jared was ejected from the passenger side window suffering traumatic injuries. The NCSHP is currently investigating the crash which involved at least 2 vehicles. The occupants of the other vehicle were not seriously injured and did not require hospitalization.

We are eternally grateful to the EMS and first responders that arrived in record time to perform life saving measures before Jared was rushed to a trauma hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to reduce brain swelling. Currently he is in ICU in critical condition, fighting for his life. Doctors have said the next 72 hours are the most important. In addition to the brain trauma and massive head injuries, Jared has suffered extensive blood loss, resulting in multiple transfusions needed. He has fractured his left femur and his pelvis on both sides, also his back is broken and he suffered other fractures throughout his body as well as internal bleeding and injuries. Doctors are still accessing the extent of his injuries. Jared will need additional surgeries for his injuries once he is stable enough to go back into the operating room.
Jared is only 26 years old and married and has a young son. Jared is also an Army veteran. He loves his family and serving his community and is an active animal rescuer and advocate. He was even recently featured on an episode of Saved by the Barn on Animal Planet when he, along with others, rescued many dogs and farm animals that were living in squaller without adequate food or water. Jared and his wife, Brenae, even adopted one of the dogs, a chihuahua which they have nursed back to health.
We are asking for prayers and if you are able, we need donations to assist with Jared's medical expenses including the many future surgeries and ongoing medical care throughout his long recovery ahead. We are unsure of the total costs at this time, but we know the expenses have already started accumulating.
For those of you that do not know me, my name is Stacey Egan and I am Jared's Aunt. This is the Official Gofundme Campaign for Deputy Jared Allison.
We will provide updates as we can, when we know more from the doctors. The next few hours and days are the most critical. We covet your prayers. We appreciate and are grateful for your donations.
I would like everyone to know how much we appreciate your donations. No amount is too small. Every donation is generous because you care enough to give. If I have not thanked you yet personally, please know that it is only because we are dealing with this family crisis. So I want to say thank you now to each and everyone of you that support Jared and our family. It means so much to all of us. Bless you and please hug your loved ones tight today for no one is promised tomorrow.
Thank you and please share.
Stacey Egan
