This fundraiser will benefit a trust set up up in the names of Ryan Hendrix's children. 100% of donations will go directly to the children and be used for their immediate and future needs.
On Thursday morning, September 10th 2020 my ex-husband, Deputy Ryan Hendrix, was tragically taken from his children, Elloree and Merritt Hendrix. He was shot in the line of duty while serving his community and doing the job that he was born to do.
The Police Benevolent Association immediately began to raise funds for the Hendrix family to be gifted in the future, and for this we are incredibly grateful. Our community has also been wonderfully responsive and have reached out to ask how needs can be met immediately. I set up a trust on behalf of the kids to give the generous people in our community a place to feel confident in knowing that their donations will go immediately and directly to the children.
Elloree and Merritt won't have their dad by their side anymore, but maybe they will remember how their community rallied around them in their time of need.
Many of you are aware that previous GoFundMes that have been set up were done so fraudulently and with no known connection to the Hendrix Family. This is why I, Erin Hendrix, the mother Elloree and Merritt, have put my name on this donation site instead of other willing friends. I can assure you that all donations will go directly to the children.
