Derek Eide

On behalf of Derek’s cousins we are all devastated and heartbroken over the sudden loss of our beloved cousin.

Derek was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. His generosity and community service matched his big heart and spirit. His smile lit up the room with his quiet little chuckle. He loved his annual toy drive for “NY Tow Trucks for Families” that his son lil Derek and fiancé Annmarie helped with every year.

Eleven months ago we lost Derek’s brother Scott which his family is still recovering and this is simply too much. Please let’s do what Derek did for so many others.

May his memory drive us to be more empathetic and generous in our own lives.
