Supporting the Jarvis family

Derek Jarvis suffered cardiac arrest on November 29th while traveling with his son and brother to Utah to attend his fathers funeral. Despite the efforts of heroic first responders, and multiple skilled medical teams, Derek did not survive. He passed away on December 1st surrounded by his family.
Derek has had ongoing health problems that prevented him from working for many years. He suffered a heart attack in June while caring for his aging father, followed by open heart surgery that he never truly recovered from.
Derek did not have life insurance or a savings account or anything left behind to help his family deal with the cost of his long term battle with heart disease. Now his family is left not only grieving the loss of the patriarch of their family, but wondering how to pay the bills that seem insurmountable.
Derek leaves behind his wife, Jennifer, and his kids: Josh, Gunnar, Bronwyn, Duncan, and Camryn. Beyond the financial stress of Derek's medical bills, Jennifer is struggling to meet the financial needs of a son with autism spectrum disorder who cannot live independently, and two children pursuing college degrees. Their oldest daughter, Bronwyn, has sacrificed the remainder of her mission in Canada in order to assist her family.
The grief felt by the loss of Derek is compounded by the financial stress they are under. If you want to help this incredible family in need, please consider donating.
