Deric Faria Recovery Fund

On the 4th of July, my brother Deric suffered a severe neck injury in a swimming pool accident leaving him with limited upper body mobility and no lower body mobility.  His injuries required him to be med-flighted to Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston where he has already undergone two surgeries.  Once Deric is released from the ICU, he will have a very long road of recovery ahead of him including several months or more of rehabilitation with the ultimate goal of regaining full body function and getting him back to his big hearted, hard working, adventurous self.  The goal of this page is to help relieve some of the financial burden for Deric, assist with significant medical costs and other unexpected needs that come up along the way which can include accessibility assistance and anything that allows him to feel a sense of normalcy in his day to day activities that are often taken for granted.  We are all so grateful for the prayers and support during this difficult time.
