Derion’s Burning man car breakdown

Hi all you beautiful burners!

This week has truly changed my life in so many ways it’s absolutely indescribable. The magic I experienced out on that playa will change me forever! This was my first burn! One of the biggest lessons I learned? Things NEVER go how you planned, but they will always work out if you just trust in this community of shining souls. So, I’m coming to you all to ask for help in my desperate time of need. I made it all the way to Carson city and then my car broke down. Fortunately, I was caravanning with some camp mates who were rockstars and helped me get towed to a body shop. My A/C compressor basically exploded and also destroyed the water pump. If you know cars you know this is a very costly repair. I am asking for help with the repairs. I’m a professional dancer and don’t tend to make very much money, but I’m incredibly blessed to do what I love everyday. I get to make art and move peoples spirits. I’m hoping by making this gofundme and sending it out to the burner community/ the world that many hands can make light work. Please, if you have any way of helping I would be beyond grateful! Even if it’s just sharing to your burner camp in case someone in your camp is in a position to help. Absolutely no gesture is too small. I also need to pay for lodging as I’m stuck here until the repairs are done. The funny thing is, my spirits aren’t down. I wouldn’t trade the experience I had including this breakdown. And I’m determined to come back to the burn next year and spread even more love, joy, and chaos ;) The universe is working on my behalf and I’m trusting in the dust. Please if you have any way of helping I’m very much in need.
