Dermas Almedom Yohannes

On behalf of Almedom Yohannes’ family, it is with heavy hearts and regrets that we inform the community of the untimely passing of our beloved son, brother and father Dermas Almedom Yohannes.

We are deeply saddened to announce that Dermas Yohannes has passed away on December 18, 2024 in the early morning hours while under going treatment at St. Mary’s General Hospital Kitchen, ON. Dermas passed away peacefully after battling a severe unknown and unidentified illness for over 2 years.

He was a loving husband to Kibrti Zerai and loving father of two young boys(Chris 4yrs and Sador 3yrs), and dear brother & friend to many in our community. Dermas will always be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and children, even during challenging times.

We are setting up GoFundMe page to help his young family and to cover the funeral and other related expenses. We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time.

May God grant him enteral rest and peace.
