There were so many people in the city wanting to show their support for Derrick as a testament to how much he impacted the community.  Therefore, we saw it fitting to create this account to allow each of you to express your love and compassion as you desire.  Derrick's life was, and still will be, a blessing to all of us.  As a family, we recognize that his reach goes further and deeper than our family and close friends. 

His legacy surpasses anything that we can conceptualize in the natural.
