Derrick Cooper’s recovery fund

Hi, my name is Keona Thomas. I am starting this fundraiser for my dad, Derrick Cooper. In the early morning hours on Sunday January 21, 2024 his house caught on fire. He has suffered a total loss on everything.

He was at his sisters birthday dinner, and when he arrived home he was met by smoke and flames. His 3 dogs were inside the home, so he tried to break the door down to get them out. Sadly, one of the three did not make it and another is in critical condition.

He will need help covering medication expenses for himself and his dog, as well as completely starting over.

As previously stated he has nothing left other than the clothes he is wearing today. Any and all donations, and more importantly prayers, would help tremendously during this time and going forward.
