Still With Thee

"As long as I can remember, I have loved to sing and make music. When I was about 5 years old, I remember being fascinated as I watched the famous entertainer, Harry Belafonte on television, and I determined then that I was going to be a singer one day.

Although my mother did her best to point me in the direction of godly living, many hours of television, listening to secular music on the popular radio stations, combined with the stimulus and influence of growing up in New York City, led me to believe that fame and fortune was the only way to obtain happiness and success. Throughout my childhood and youth I often toyed with these thoughts in my mind and in college I decided to study communications and theatre.

After graduating college, I managed to develop and maintain a steady career in New York City, as an actor, working on soap operas, movies, television and radio commercials. But throughout the years in show business, God’s Spirit never stopped calling to me. As much as I enjoyed my career and told myself that I would continue to do this for the rest of my life, I knew by the “still small voice” that the life that I was living was not what God wanted for me. He had something different and better in mind.

I did my best to sidestep the promptings of the Lord until one day He sent an old  and dear friend that I used to sing with as a youth in the church choir, Yvonne Lewis. She invited me to a group Bible study at her home one Friday evening. I was not really interested in spiritual things. I consented to attend for the purpose of social networking to further my carreer but after studying the Word of God that night until 2 AM, something I had not done in a very long time, my life was changed. I was drawn by a love that I had not known or understood in the past and I gave my heart fully to Jesus Christ that evening.

As I continued to study God’s word and pray, He began to show me things as they truly are behind the scenes in show business and in life. I started going back to church and it became very clear to me that real happiness can only be found in Jesus Christ.

It has been many years since I took that step.
It has not always been an easy road. There have been many challenges and trials but I am happy to say that I have not looked back nor do I regret in any way the decision I made that night.

15 years ago, God moved upon my heart to start Moses’ Song Ministries to encourage others and keep “His Song” in the hearts of His people. And though the enemy has tried to silence that song, God has seen fit to keep it alive. I count it an honor and a privilege to serve and share the gospel through music where ever I am called to go. I have traveled from place to place, city to city throughout the United States and to 17 countries singing and sharing messages of God's love, joy, and peace and I am always blessed and thankful as I see God's Spirit moving on the hearts of the audience through each song and thankful for the privilege to be used in His service.

My style is simple and gentle, and this allows one to contemplate and experience the meaning of the words I believe God would have me convey. 

Recently God gave me the opportunity to return to Germany to record a new CD and ten new videos of simple, beautiful hymns.

God says, "Be still and know that I am God." He longs for us to enter into communion with Him to experience the "beauty of holiness." I have entitled it, "Still With Thee."

The project is finished but cannot be released until I have paid the beautiful folks who worked so hard to help me create this project. The funds will be used to pay the engineer and his staff for long hours of recording, filming, and editing, and there is also the cost of replicating the CD's and videos for distribution as well.

As I mentioned earlier, the project is complete. Therefore, it is my hope to acquire the funds as quicklly as possible so that I can continue to share godly Christian music with you and others near and far.

The funds sent will go directly to "Moses' Song Ministries." The ministry is set up as a not for profit organization so I am able to give those that donate funds a tax deductible receipt. I will be greatful for whatever you are able to give, small or large along with your prayers for this and other projects in the future.

I trust that God has His hand on this project and will bring it to completion for His honor and glory.
