Unexpected tragedy has struck Mark Wakefield. Mark and Joyce Wakefield need your support. As of October 12th, 2023, Mark has been hospitalized for over a month as a result of sepsis and complications from his infection.

Mark's Health crisis has been stunning and unexpected. What was at first an innocuous blister on his foot has inexplicably spread causing sepsis, organ failure, extended life support in ICU, surgery, and now complications that will result in further major and tragic surgeries. Mark is making slow, hard fought progress, but his health crisis has been a proverbial roller-coaster over the past five weeks. With his perseverance and fight for life, Mark is now facing further medical treatments, surgeries, and a very long recovery period. This is all exacerbated by financially crushing medical costs.
