Des Plaines single mom needs help

A very deserving family is in desperate need of help. This family has 3 children - all have gone to Forest, Algonquin and Maine West. They are a woman and children you know from the neighborhood, Park District basketball or soccer, DP Baseball, and the mom works for District 62. She works West Fest and concessions at Maine West. They have really had it rough in the past, and due to a relatives failing health, they are facing possible homelessness for a SECOND time. I don't know how she has managed to keep it all together, she has not seen a penny of child support in 12 years.

As if that isn't bad enough, their car broke down. The oldest uses it to drive mom to work and commute to college. Please, find it in your heart to help SOMEONE WHO DESPERATELY NEEDS A BREAK! I am starting this Go Fund Me Page to see if we can help with costs to repair their car.

Given the stigma of homelessness, I was trying to keep names and faces, out of this. I am hoping your generosity will extend just knowing you can help a fellow Des Plainesian in need. Thank you.
