In 2017, the Lord called a group of believers to start a church in La Quinta, CA, a city in the heart of the Coachella Valley. The region has a population of over 500,000 residents. God has performed a miraculous work. We have witnessed dozens receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and many baptized in Jesus' name. Our church has collaborated with the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission assisting families in recovery, sponsored food giveaways, and toy drives helping the disadvantaged in our community. We currently have two aspiring young men receiving training for ministry at Bible College. There has been a steady growth within our congregation. Our members can be described as “a family of committed people that serve with passion”. Nothing has given greater joy than seeing lives changed.
In the last 3 ½ years, we’ve held church services in a High School Auditorium. However, during the onset of the COVID epidemic the school district, who treated us graciously, informed us the location was no longer available due to county health regulations. Several weeks ago, the Lord opened an extraordinary door. We have secured a church location on the La Quinta/Indio border with the potential capacity to seat 160. This opportunity is of the Lord!
Supporting our community and promoting healthy families will remain a priority for our ministry. Church services are devoted to exuberant worship, Biblical teaching, and a demonstration of God’s power. As we move into our new sanctuary, we are asking friends to prayerfully consider partnering with us, by giving a monetary donation that will help with the preparation of the building. A plan of full refurbishing is set in motion. We are seeking assistance for chairs, carpet, exterior wall signage, and staging. There is no amount too small or too great!
