Desi B while he's recovering from spinal surgery

We are the Bud's Glass Joint crew. We are raising funds for an amazing human being and an even more incredible artists, Desi B, who desparately need his communities support and we thought what better way to allow us all to show us how much he means to us.

If you know Desi, you know he's always had back pain but it turns out he had a degenerative disc disease. In November he went to the hospital and was told he needed emergency surgery. His MRI showed multilevel chord compression with cervical and thoracic spine, most notably at T8-9. He underwent T3-9 laminectomy and decompression, T3-10 posterior fusion and fixation, T 7 & 8 partial corpectomies with transpedicular discectomy. This is all doctor speak for his back was F#cked and they did some serious Sh#t.

Desi is getting out of the hospital on Friday, January 12 but has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He needs to relearn most life skills since his spine has two rods in it so even simple things we take for granted like getting out of bed are going to need to be relearned.

Desi's glass blowing is his job and source of income and he is not going to be able to do this for quite awhile until he is recovered. We all know Desi and know he is going to push himself to recover as fast as humanly possible but he needs our help with general life expenses, bills, food, etc.

Desi is a proud dude and is too strong to ask for help so we want to help take charge and give the Arizona and American glass blowing & counterculter communities a place to show their love, support and give a place to show him our support.
