Desi Mihova Memorial Fund

Dear Friends and Family of Desi,
Desi was an amazing human being whom we sadly lost this Mother’s Day, 12 May 2019. She was a single mom too, who couldn’t possibly hold on to life and was forced to leave behind her nine years old son.
In her memory we dedicate this memorial page to Desi, with the aim to raise a small college fund for her son Yoan. I’m sure Desi would have given all she can to help him and would be immensely grateful if we support her in this endeavour, now that she is only among us in spirit.
For those of you who didn’t know Desi as much, she was a true inspiration as a sister, a mother, a professional woman juggling life and a very kind human being, always carrying a smile. She never gave up no matter how difficult the path ahead and always kept a positive attitude, even when those around her could barely force a smile.
Desi is in fact stage 4 cancer survivor! One year after diagnosis and only after a kidney surgery, her body gave up on her. However her spirit never did. Just 3 days prior to the end, she was asking her doctors to start a new chemo therapy planned for her. Although that would have been impossible given her condition, it just shows how relentless she was in her strive, holding onto life with every breath.
This is the kind of energy and strive we would like to pass on to her son and utilise this memorial to gather support for his future. The funds will be invested in a low risk portfolio to which I will be contributing monthly too so that one day it can be used for the new beginnings of her son’s life.
For those of you who knew Desi but have never had the pleasure to meet, please do reach out. I already gave my contacts to a few of her friends and would love to meet you, whether in Bulgaria, the U.K. or somewhere else.
Thank you from the whole family
