Our current mission is to make 100,000 FREE, CDC RECOMMENDED CLOTH FACE MASKS for the most vulnerable to COVID-19.
Free Face Masks are donated to first responders, those who can’t afford a mask and distributed by our Angel & Guardian Angel Volunteers.
How to get a FACE MASK or KIT for you to sew:
Kits are free, with a suggested donation fundraising goal per kit $100.

MONEY at any denomination can be donated on Go Fund Me.
BEGINNING 4/10/2020, any donations provided on gofundme will only be to support the charity. Any other intentions of your donation will need to be processed through our website.
The fabric we use costs the charity anywhere between $1.50-$3 a yard as prices have been fluctuating with demand of this type of material. We could use your donation to support buying fabric, support with the cutting costs we incur, cost of shipping our free kits to volunteers to sew, etc.

FABRIC
$200 donation
Will enable us to purchase 100 yards of 100% cotton or 75% cotton/25% poly knit fabric.
We can buy enough fabric and cut [phone redacted] masks per 100 yards! We ask our volunteers to please realize their free kit isn’t actually free and our organization still needs to fundraise to help pay the fabric, cutting and shipping the fabric, for all of us to donate the fabric to the community for free.
Given the strict guidelines from our hospital partners and Los Angeles County Department of Health, we can only accept 100% Cotton, Poly Cotton (75%cotton min.), Jersey Knit.... ALL FABRIC must be on a 60" Bolt and have a weight of 6-8oz. Message us at [email redacted] if you have a fabric supplier or a personal supply you can donate to be cut and donated to our volunteers!
Donors of fabric and sponsoring a roll of fabric will not receive a completed mask or anything in return for your donation except a BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! 1 , 100 yard roll of fabric can make 700 woven fold hospital compliant masks or 1700 general face masks for essential workers and general public.

- Agree that 200 of 300 masks will be donated to our facility of choice and 100 to your facility of choice or for you to use to fundraise with. you can sign up your facility of choice to donate all 150 of your masks (with our written approval) on our website here:

How you can support a Sewer/Seamstress or get your PRE-CUT KIT SPONSORED:
$15 = 5 masks completed by a volunteer
(Then we will send the volunteer seamstress a free 150 piece kit)
ANGEL SUPPORTER = suggested donation $15
When the kit is shipped & completed by the volunteer, the donor will receive :
5 pcs completed Masks from the volunteers 150 masks kit.
GUARDIAN ANGEL SUPPORTER = suggested donation $30
When the kit is shipped & completed by the volunteer, the donor will receive :
10 pcs completed Masks from the volunteers 300 masks kit.
ANGEL SPONSOR = suggested donation $100

How we spend a $100 donation in our charity:
75 yards of fabric (makes 525 masks)
or
Shipping 6 kits to a seamstress, or shipping 6 completed kits to a facility
or
cutting services for 1000 masks
GUARDIAN ANGEL SPONSOR = suggested donation $300
We provide the donor with:
20 pcs Volunteer Created Face Masks
How we spend a $300 donation in our charity:
200 yards of fabric (makes 1400 masks)
or
Shipping 20 kits to a seamstress, or shipping 20 completed kits to a facility
or
cutting services for 3000 masks
SUPERNATURAL BEING = suggested donation $1000
We provide to the donor:
300 pcs Volunteer Created Face Masks to you.
How we spend a $1000 donation in our charity:
600 yards of fabric (makes 4200 masks)
or
Shipping 50 large kits to a seamstress, or shipping 100 completed kits to a facility
or
cutting services for 10,000 masks

***DISCLAIMER ***
*sanitation of masks created outside of our control, is something we cannot control, we are only providing the supplies to create the masks. All other steps is in the hands of the person creating the actual mask. We recommend to WASH YOUR HANDS and WEARING GLOVES before and during the creation of your masks,
when completed making your mask, WASH THE MASKS in HOT WATER, then dry, flatten and properly bundle each before you distribute to first responders. most hospitals will wash and sanitize masks before using, so we advise the general public to do so as well.
* final construction and assembly is upon the judgment of the person assembling the actual mask. And if design changes are made, it within their best interests, we can only suggest, what is Los Angeles Country Department of Health Standards, which may be different in your jurisdiction.
*we do not make any stipulation or claims of how effective these homemade face asks are (we are following guidelines of Los Angeles County Department of Health to make non surgical face mask for both the general public and first responders. )
* we are not liable to completed masks since the masks are created not by our own staff. Any choices and changes on construction deviating from LACDH Guidelines are done so by the volunteer assembling the actual mask.
*Participating in this volunteer effort you are acknowledging that you hold Design by Donation not liable to any claims, hardships caused, or falseclaims to the effectiveness of our volunteer made product. We cannot accept returns of damaged or defective product.
Updates :
3/30: picked up 8 rolls of 8oz st. poplin, has a nice weight to it. Not flimsy. and sent to cutters. hopefully we'll get cut bundles sooner than later. and packed all remaining boxes, and will ship them out 3/31.
3/29: we are adding a design to meet LA COUNTY standard set up by KAISER PERMANENTE. which is fold design w ties.
3/27: all donated funds from Venmo: Smlskl , and PayPal has been transferred over to our gofundme project.
3/27: we are on day 5 of conception of this FREE face mask project. We have grown to point where Creating a gofundme, is the best thing to do, To keep all donations centralized. And to separate donations from mixing with personal finances.
