Desiree Benedict Recovery Fund

Hi, my name is Rachel Moseley and Desiree is our beloved nanny. On July 3rd Desiree was hospitalized when her body began to shut down due to undiagnosed diabetes. She's currently still in the ICU and will be in the hospital for several days. Desiree is a remarkable woman and magical nanny who recently finished her Master's degree in Special Education at UNR. As a full-time student, she also worked for our family and several other families, more than full-time, always putting our needs before her own. She landed her dream teaching job in the Fall, which will begin mid-August, but until then she is absolutely working hand to mouth and hustling different nanny jobs to survive. This fund would allow Desiree to not have to work for the rest of the summer so she could focus just on her recovery and managing her new life as a diabetic. This is one case where truly every dollar will count. We are happy and honored to be able to help and support her as much as we can through her recovery and any additional help would be greatly appreciated.
