Destination Harrisburg!

Because of Tallgrass's unusual educational model, few of our students have had the chance to see another school like ours in action. This October, five of our students plus a staff member will be traveling to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to visit the Circle School, one of our closest neighbors in self-directed democratic education. This is our first school overnight trip and our first school trip to one of our sister schools, and we're excited! We'll be traveling by Amtrak to Harrisburg and camping while there, adding a big dose of adventure to our trip to Pennsylvania's state capital.
