Destination Imagination Goofy Eagles

The Goofy Eagles are raising funds to travel and compete in the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri on May 22-25, 2024. All contributions will go toward the Goofy Eagles’ registration fee or travel expenses (hotel, food, transportation) to attend the Global Finals.

The Goofy Eagles are a fifth-grade team Destination Imagination team from Elk Creek Elementary School. Most of the Goofy Eagles' team members have been participating in Destination Imagination since first grade. The Goofy Eagles won first place in their challenge competition at both the Jeffco Tournament and Colorado State Tournament in both 2023 and 2024. This is their last year of elementary school. In celebration and culmination of their work together, they will hit the road to compete in the 2024 Global Finals.

Destination Imagination is a creative team problem-solving program with competitions at the local, state, and global levels. The Global Finals is a major four-day event in which leading Destination Imagination teams from around the world see each other’s long-term projects, meet each other, and compete. They participate in social activities and an opening and closing ceremony. It has been described as a truly international experience.
