Destiny Lee Monaghan's home going
I've danced around making a GoFundMe for days, writing things down, deleting them, walking away from the computer and back again just to tell myself, eh "I will do it later" I am not one for asking for help, everyone who knows me knows that, but this isn't about me, its about my sister Destiny Lee Monaghan, born July 21, 1992 who was unexpectedly taken from us June 10, 2020. My sister not only leaves behind 5 siblings and our mother, she has left behind my niece Ayla whom is 4, and nephew Jayden who is 10. although Destiny had struggled to give them the life they deserve, the love she had for them couldn't be argued. We as a family have took up the responsibility of caring for them and although we have all played a big part in raising them, things are surely different now because now WE are all they have. My sister isn't coming back, so its up to us to fill that void as best as we can, and love them and care for them as my sister would.
As unexpected as this is, it has definitely put a strain on us financially,
The costs of cremation, planning and paying for the memorial, and making sure my niece and nephew are comfortable while continue to pay the bills we already have has been hard, we are not able to access my sisters Storage to get any of my nieces and nephews things until a death certificate has been provided and the outstanding balance has been paid, So all we have is the things we were able to rummage up which is not much!
My sister wasn't perfect, she had her demons, as we all do. but just like everyone
else she deserves a proper send off, not only for her, but for the kids. Times are hard for right now for everyone, I Get it, so we don't expect much, but if you can and are able we thank you greatly and it is so appreciated!
