Destiny’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Kara and Destiny is a dear friend of mine. The loss of our daughters brought us together and we have remained close and lean on each other during the tough times. Destiny is in another tough spot in her life and I wanted to help by starting this fundraiser for her and her family. She was recently diagnosed with stage 3b invasive ductle carcinoma or in short - Stage 3 breast cancer. (2 tumors and 3 lymph nodes)

The tests show that thanks only to God she caught it in time. Thankfully it has not spread to her bones and organs but she’s in for the fight of a lifetime.

Right now it looks like she will be undergoing chemo for 3 months, then they will check to see if the cancer is responding to treatment. If it is they will do another three months of chemo, surgery, and then radiation. (Treatment plan appointment in the coming days)

Destiny along with her family appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this time as they navigate their way through this journey day by day.

With all of that said, there will be a strain on the family financially with the chemo and countless doctors appointments, and we hope and pray that we can all come together and support the Whipple family in this way and help lift that financial burden from them. Any amount is appreciated and helpful and they are forever grateful for everyone that is supporting them through this fight!
