Det 105 Teal Rope Program
Donation protected
The United States hosts the best warfighting force the world has to offer. However, sexual harassment and assault, like in many organizations, permeates and puts both male and female personnel's well-being and mental health at risk.
The Air Force Reserves Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) 105th Cadet Wing of CU Boulder hosts one of the first Teal Rope programs through the AFROTC commission source. We are a group of trained peer advocates who focus on combating sexual harassment and violence, as well as providing victim support and advocacy by providing safe and confidential environments and resources. We are marked by our Teal Ropes which allows cadets to recognize us whenever in uniform.
We are a newly-born program here at CU Boulder. The funds provided to us can help us assist cadets who may be in need of support. Funds may also help us with providing professional development and training opportunities to our Teal Rope peer advocates, as well as awareness and informational events.
