#Detroit Black Panther Challenge

Donation protected
What a blessing it was to be able to unite with my dearest friends & coolest colleagues on behalf of the SUPERHEROES in the metropolitan Detroit area -to gift more than 140 kids a memorable #MovieGoneMovementMoment!

Yesterday’s eagerly awaited trip to #Wakanda by way of the oh so on-point Bel Air Luxury Cinema-thanks Johny Thomas & his team- compliments of the #DetroitBlackPantherChallenge #JustBecause –was Extraordinary!

Following the lead of that marvelous millennial Frederick Joseph- who inspired at least 300 #BlackPantherChallenges around the WORLD - generous donors, Mer Oliver, Randa Davis, Stacey Travis, my DPSCD colleagues and I; we were able to build stronger bonds with our students, parents and the community.

We truly thank you for your support, well wishes, DONATIONS, shares and encouragement. Very little in life is ever achieved by the thoughts or actions of any one person.

We thank you for the donations after the goal was exceeded and the trip to #Wakanda completed. Donations made hereafter, will be forwarded to the emerging journalist club at Western International directed by Jessica Care Moore and Daeja Giles.

For now, this Detroit #BlackPantherChallenge torch that was lit by #FrederickJoseph, of New York, is being passed to other efforts to load up  buses & get ALL our kids to #Wakanda.

Alright now Jemele Hill- with your power packed posse who is taking 900 Detroit kids/ 20+ buses to #Wakanda next Wednesday- Let's GO #DetroitBlackPantherFieldTrip !!!! #Winning
