Zachary’s Fundraiser

As most of you already know over the past few weeks, our (soon to be) three year old little boy Zachary has taken a further decline in his health.

After his isolated liver transplant in August 23, Zachary developed VRE sepsis which nearly killed him. This, along with the continuous Artificial Nutrition he requires, his new organ is struggling. He has since been relisted for a liver-small bowel transplant and we continue to hope and pray this call will come.

However in the recent weeks, Zachary has been introduced to palliative and been given an estimated weeks to months left if he doesn’t receive the size match organs he so desperately needs.

We want to focus on living out whatever time we may have left with Zachary, and enjoy every single day as it may be our last.

We have been reluctant to set up a go fund me, however with the recent news coverage, we have had many people reaching out looking to help in any way they can. Many suggested this. Zachary deserves the absolute world and more, therefore we would like to try raise these funds to give him as many opportunities and memories as possible. These funds would also ease financial pressure we face with neither of us being able to work currently.

We want to thank every single person who has shared Zachary’s story over the past few years and supported us through every step of the way.

We are not giving up on you Zachary, and we never will. Just keep fighting little one, we love you.

Keep sharing Zachary’s story, talk about him with your friends and family, have the conversations about what you would do if in the position to donate a loved one’s organs.
