Devastating Fire for DiMondo Family

Many of you may know my son Tony DiMondo, his amazing wife Shelby and their four children Brooklyn (11), Nina (10), Ryan (3) and Navy (1). On Monday, June 20 a massive fire broke out and destroyed everything in Tony's work barn. Thankfully, the house was not damaged and the whole family was able to get out safely.

Tony had a business that included boring conduit for underground, wiring, cable, water etc that helped to make our community and surrounding communities more beautiful. Everything he had for his business was in that barn. Three work trucks, a Vermeer 20x40 Drill, water tanks, mechanic lift not to mention thousands and thousands of dollars in tools and other equipment! The renters insurance did not cover his business equipment and his business insurance is only covering 5%. His total loss was over $200,000.

Tony is determined to rebuild for the sake of his family. I wanted to create this gofundme as so many people have offered to help and encouraged me to take this step. Tony is a VERY hard worker and this was a devastating loss.

I pray that this has been a sign and a blessing that family, friends and community can come together to support a family that has suffered and lost so much while dedicating a career to help all persons in their desire to create a safe place for their own family. God has a plan and he is guiding me through this incredibly emotional process. Tony is not technically a "first responder" but he is the first to respond to our daily comforts such as water and communication.

We need to support these hard workers as they continue to work through all types of elements. As a retired teacher of special needs children, I am begging you to please consider a donation to this cause.
