Develop FLL Robotics Teams in Greater Boston

Although Massachusetts is considered a technology hub, thousands of students in many communities around the Metro-Boston area lack access to STEM programs.

As members of the Massachusetts community, we would like to give back and help young minds explore the inspiring world of STEM through FIRST Lego League (FLL) programs. We hope to start, fund, and organize several new FLL teams in Metro-Boston towns and set them up for success in the upcoming FLL season (which begins in early October).

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE

FIRST LEGO League introduces science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to children ages 4-16 through fun, exciting hands-on learning. FIRST LEGO League participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping today’s students and teachers build a better future together.

In FIRST LEGO League, students engage in hands-on STEM experiences, building confidence, growing their knowledge, and developing habits of learning. FIRST LEGO League’s three divisions inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

PROJECT INSPIRE

Project Inspire is a nonprofit initiative to help guide kids to find their passion for STEM through FIRST programs. By donating, you will be funding a collection of resources for kids of all ages to use to foster their technical, presentational, and personal growth.

ABOUT THE SPARTANS

FTC Team 20808, Spartans is a second-year community team from Lexington, MA. Our team consists of people from various grades. We chose our team name to show that like Spartans, we are powerful despite our differences.

Our mission is to learn engineering, programming, and project management while inspiring and teaching our community about STEM and FIRST.
