Deveyon's Education Fund

Someday someone will make a movie about 11-year old Deveyon Chapman's life. But until then... he needs your help! 

Deveyon was born in the horribly violent west side of Chicago. His mom didn't enroll him in school, instead he babysat his younger cousins and tried to keep them safe.

When Deveyon's was 9-years old, his uncle in Minnesota found out he wasn't in school. He fought for guardianship and brought Deveyon to Minnesota. 

When Deveyon arrived he didn't know his alphabet or how to hold a pencil. Two years later, he's finished fourth grade and says his goal is to graduate and go to college. 

Deveyon has every reason to be angry and act out. But he is one of the most positive kids you'll ever meet. He gets up every morning, gets himself ready and can't wait to go to school. And his smile lights up every room.
