Devin Needs a Handicap Accessible Van
Donation protected
Devin was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma on January 31, 2018, a very rare and aggressive type of brain tumor under the care of Neurosurgery, Hematology and Oncology Divisions at Akron Children’s Hospital. He underwent multiple surgeries and even a recurrent cancer in the same area of his brain stem, several other areas on the back of his brain and the disease metastasized to his spine. The doctors did not expect him to make it past December of 2019. God had other plans and by His grace, Devin has overcome the cancer and continues to work through a weekly very intensive therapy schedule. Devin is getting stronger daily. While he is in remission from the cancer, he is still oxygen dependent 24/7, he still has physical limitations, including scoliosis and muscle wasting. For these and several other reasons he uses a wheelchair, a walker, lift and several disability tools to enhance his mobility. He is not able to walk on his own or support his own weight so the need is now urgent for a wheelchair accessible van. This wheelchair accessible van is needed to transport him to various weekly therapies, doctor's appointments and more! As a growing 6 year old-the need is now for this van. If God puts it on your heart to support Devin and this need, we'd greatly appreciate any monetary donations.
We're very thankful for your prayers and support for Devin and his family.
Please spread the word to help us get Devin a wheelchair accessible van.
